School

Tomorrow (Tuesday) is Emma's first day of school at a pre-school for 3 and 4 year olds on Post.

The school is Christian, and is the only Christian pre-school in existence on a military Post anywhere in the world. I think that is pretty amazing. It is located within our large chapel building that holds a sanctuary, a fellowship hall and kitchen, several offices and several school rooms. Emma is very familiar with the school rooms as that is where her Vacation Bible School met.

Last week we had a parent orientation, and an Open House. They treat this pre-school stuff very seriously. Well, as they should I suppose.

As a Christian pre-school, they will start their day with prayer along with other daily routines like singing My Country Tis of Thee and saying the Pledge of Allegiance (to the US).

She'll attend pre-school every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:15 to 11:15am. Oy! That is early for us! Sigh.

They grow up fast, don't they?
