Emma's first pair of tennis shoes were a delightfully cute pair of pink Velcro sneakers.
They were the Cutest Things Ever. I was so sad when she outgrew them.
When I got pregnant with Jackson, I realized that those pink tennis shoes could be worn by the new baby! Oh happy day!
And then we found out we were having a boy.
This did not deter me.
Those pink tennis shoes with the little velcro straps are cute no matter who they are on.
