Jason's doing well. He's still staying in an off-post apartment with some friends of ours who are in the same Army band with him.
His days are filled with band rehearsals, and Army training. Last Tuesday, the band performed a Christmas concert at the Seoul Performing Arts Center.
Being stationed in Korea, he'll be involved in more warefare training etc because of the potential threat of an invasion from N. Korea. So, he's been doing some rifle training and some mountain climbing excursions. He says its not nearly as fun as one might think.

This weekend, he ventured out to Costco. I know, sounds more like a typical American weekend than a Korean one, but that's what he did. He wanted to look at artificial Christmas trees (no real trees allowed) and he ended up picking up a 6ft one for the equivalent of $35. Nice!

It snowed in Seoul recently, but it didnt stick. The morning temps have been in the 20's lately Jason said.
Although Seoul is a BIG city, filled with high-rise buildings, subway system, very busy crowded streets, there are also many parks and playgrounds within walking distance of most homes.

I miss him.
