Bright and early this morning the Army movers arrived to take away all of the loaned furniture we would no longer need when ours arrived. Beds, dining room table and chairs, sofa, coffee table, end table, lamps and one dresser.

They were gone by 9am (the time they were actually suppose to arrive!) and so for the rest of the day we had no furniture.

I wasnt a fan of the no furniture thing.

When it was nap time, I made Emma a pallet on the floor.

I dont think she actually napped though.

Our household goods (the big giant shipment) were suppose to arrive at 2pm, but due to a few logistical errors, our furniture had to sit outside for a few hours, get organized into smaller truck to fit into the building, and finally arrived to our doorstep about 5pm. The movers were here until nearly 8pm, and God Bless those Korean men, they do it all.

For every box they unpacked or piece of furniture they unwrapped, they took all the wrapping papers and boxes out of the apartment for us. They painstakingly put Emma's big girl bed together, Jackson's crib together, and Emma's changing table.

Normally, they would open up all the boxes for us, and unwrap the contents. But, they were into overtime hours as it was, and we needed to get the kids to bed. They gave us a number to call to haul away the rest of the boxes and packing materials when we were done.

(which will be a few days, we have a lot of stuff)

For now, our main area is in some semblance of normalness and Oh. My. Goodness. It is SO good to have my furniture again.

Call me shallow, but home is where my stuff is.
