The husband is a trumpet player in the band with Jason and his wife is Korean. She speaks English well. They live in our apartment complex and Jason usually rides into work with Jake.
They were so great with Emma that when it was time for jammie jammies and snuggle time, she chose to sit with them and watch a little bit of Annie the musical.
And here is my friend Sarah, playing with Jackson during our now weekly playdate at our apartment every Friday morning.
Sarah has son in third grade, a 3 year old son and she is pregnant with a third child. She lives in my apartment complex and last Friday night we went over to her apartment and had dinner with her and her husband and another couple and all of our children. Fun times.
I'm now meeting with one playgroup every Wednesday morning, a different playgroup every Thursday morning, and hosting playdates in my apartment on Tuesday and Friday mornings (different moms from the two different groups).
At least my social calendar is filling up!

Wow, your social calendar really is filling up! That's so great!! And hopefully soon it will be warm again so you can take the play dates outside.
