Our weekend started off with snow! Lots of it! It started snowing early Friday morning and continued for about 6 hours. It was so so beautiful looking out our apartment windows at the snow flying around the building.

When Jason got home from work Friday afternoon, we headed outside to let Emma experience her first REAL snow.
(Jackson is obviously thrilled)
Emma loved the snow. We didnt have special gloves for her that you can get wet (just cotton mittens), so she couldnt wear her gloves, and her fingers got really cold. We kept warming her hands up, but after about 25 minutes, we knew she was really cold (but wanted to keep playing!) and we bribed her with hot chocolate and marshmellows to get her to go back to our place.
I wish I had gotten pictures of her drinking the hot chocolate! It was her first time, and I let her drink it out of a big mug. She had so much fun. :)
The snow lasted only about 2 days, but it sure made the cold weather more bearable!
