Jackson got called for another modeling shoot on Monday! He's only done the one shoot, back in the Spring.
(which by the way, go HERE to see his picture in the Ettoi Catalogue. It's kind of a funky site since its Korean, and is best viewed with the latest Adobe files in IE. Scroll thru the banner- under Summer- and you'll see Jax next to another little boy)
I took my camera this time, and took lots of pictures so you can see what it is like behind the scenes of a children's modeling shoot.
This shoot was done on the 2nd floor of a townhouse in a neighborhood about 20 minutes from where we live. It is clearly used as a photo/prop studio. The front half of the room is for makeup/hair and all of the props and outfits, and the back half is set up for the photo backdrops.
Here is the staff setting up for Jackson's solo shoot...
I've found that it is best if I stay out of Jackson's view during the photoshoot. That way he doesnt look to me and cry to be picked up. He loves his agent and she is always prepped with loads of toys and treats to help him keep at ease.
Seriously, they have like 8 or so staff members designed to Do What It Takes to get the shot.
They have a "story board" of what the shots are suppose to look like, based off catalogues in other countries.
If you enlarge the above picture, the shot they are trying to mirror in Jackson's shoot is the bottom row, second from the right. Baby on big blue stuffed thing.
For this shoot, there were about 2 hours of down (wasted!) time in the afternoon due to a traffic jam causing another modeling client to be late. Jackson was a real trooper all day though!
Well, ok- there were small moments of unhappiness, but all in all he did GREAT.
The second shot he was in was a two person shot. Jackson was suppose to be the big brother (hahahaha!) and lean over and kiss a little baby! (See story board, bottom row, last image on the right)
Well, Jackson is only 14 months, and not really in to taking commands to "kiss the baby!". So, the shoot took awhile.
They have a computer that shows the camera images imediately.
I dont know if they got the kissing shot they wanted, but seriously- look at that shot?
ADORABLE.
We had a really great time at the shoot, and even got to meet the designer of the clothing label Jackson was modeling!
(Call me biased if you want, but my little man is SO COMPLETELY ADORABLY BEAUTIFUL! Look at him! His round face! His rosy cheeks and BIG blue eyes! Those golden locks that are getting shaggy and starting to curL! OH MY GOODNESS! HE IS SO CUTE!)
